Unlocking a new path forward, so you can step into who truly you want to be.

Do you feel frozen in life, unable to move forward or make decisions? Life continues on around you, but you’re struggling to keep up. Maybe you are juggling the responsibilities of relationships, school, or work, and feel like a ball is about to drop at any moment. You might be a parent who is having difficulty understanding your child’s behavior or what they are feeling.

Perhaps you’ve been interested in therapy for a while, wondering if it could help, and now you’re ready to take the leap. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know you’ve found a safe space where you can feel comfortable sharing your story and getting the support you need.

I specialize in working with people who feel stuck but are ready to move forward from the past and embrace who they really want to be. Together, we’ll work on coping skills, processing difficult feelings and deeply rooted beliefs, and gaining confidence in your own choices. I want to help you develop a newfound sense of ownership over your life. I’m a fully transparent therapist and encourage you to ask questions about anything—including different tools and resources and the “why” behind different therapy techniques.

As we explore solutions rather than just a quick “fix,” we’ll dig into some deeper stuff, and sometimes this can bring up hard emotions. I want you to know that’s okay, because in order to get where you or your child wants to be, there can be mountains to climb. But I can tell you firsthand, reaching the summit will feel spectacular. Let’s connect and see if we’re a good fit for the next step in your journey.

  • ACT encourages accepting thoughts and feelings, even when they’re unpleasant, while committing to actions aligned with personal values.

  • CBT focuses on reframing negative thought patterns and changing behaviors to improve mental health.

  • EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping on parts of the body) to help people process traumatic memories and feel less affected by them in the present.

  • IFS helps clients explore different parts of their internal self, fostering self-awareness and helping them accept themselves as a whole.

  • SMART integrates physical activities like using bean bags, trampolines, and weighted blankets to engage children and adolescents in movement and play, promoting healing and connection. It's often integrated into other therapeutic interventions.

  • Therapeutic mindfulness helps guide individuals to actively engage in present experiences, allowing them to observe thoughts and feelings without attachment or judgment.

MODALITIES

Sessions with me are…

Open-minded.

I’m known for being easy to connect with and having a flexible approach when it comes to therapy. Sessions are tailored specifically for each person and what they need. This can include art and different tools to explore personal creativity and free expression. I encourage people to show up authentically, creating a space where they’ll feel supported and seen for everything they are. I typically schedule sessions weekly or every other week, keeping my calendar open enough to allow you to schedule with ease, not like you have to fight for a spot.

My background

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, as well as my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience in college counseling and I interned at Reflections. In my free time, I love to be with my pets, cooking, reading, and exploring new places!
