The support you need to become your most authentic self.

Are you looking for help with the stress and anxiety you’re feeling each day? The overwhelm is flowing over into every area of life: your relationships, happiness, and work. You often feel misunderstood, and you want to be able to embrace who you truly are while letting go of the feelings that are bringing you down.

Perhaps you’ve thought about going to therapy before but didn’t know where to start. It’s okay to be nervous to take the leap! You might have seen something about mental health on TikTok recently and immediately thought, “That sounds just like me.” I want to assure you that you’ve found a safe place where you can feel supported, all while being completely yourself.

I specialize in working with teens and adults who are realizing they don’t need to live this way anymore—they’re ready to learn about themselves and what their path looks like going forward. With me, you’re going to get warmth, humor, and a relaxed atmosphere. In our work together, you’ll have full transparency from me and access to the therapy process, so don’t be afraid to ask questions and provide feedback throughout our work. I’m here as a guide to help you achieve your goals.

As an ally and parent myself, I believe we can find common ground so you can feel safe, supported, and respected no matter what your story looks like. You’re the expert on your life and I’m here to help you get the most out of this investment in yourself. Together we will go beyond traditional “talk therapy” to help you create real change, so you can feel empowered and hopeful about the future. Schedule a consult today.

  • CBT focuses on reframing negative thought patterns and changing behaviors to improve mental health.

  • IFS helps clients explore different parts of their internal self, fostering self-awareness and helping them accept themselves as a whole.

  • EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements or tapping on parts of the body) to help people process traumatic memories and feel less affected by them in the present.

  • DBT focuses is a type of talk therapy that focuses on mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance.

MODALITIES

Sessions with me are…

Easy-going.

I like to think that I’m pretty fun, and I’m not afraid to laugh and find humor in the things we face. (This helps when we have to transition and dive deeper into the hard stuff.) We’ll take things at your pace, so we can learn more about where you want to go and what you want to get out of therapy. Typically I schedule appointments weekly or every other week, allowing you to fit in my schedule without fighting for a spot.

My background

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. I have extensive experience with different populations, including developmental disabilities, foster care, adult group homes, and juvenile systems. I’m a professional member of both the National Association of Social Workers and the EMDR International Association.

When I’m away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family, gaming, crocheting, and gardening. I have a love of cats, plants, crafts, and a healthy obsession with The Lord of the Rings!
