Helping you understand your past and move confidently toward your future.

Do you sometimes feel like something is missing in your life? Maybe you’ve noticed a pattern in your relationships and want to figure out how to do things differently. As an intern here at Reflections, I want to work with you where you are. While we work towards stabilizing your present, I also want to help you plan towards a future that aligns with your goals and values. Part of this work includes processing and understanding past trauma and childhood attachments that may be influencing your life. I understand that these memories can be personal and vulnerable experiences to share, so building trust is vital to working together. Sessions won’t always be heavy and I look forward to sharing the positives that are in your life and those that develop moving forward.

MODALITIES

Sessions with me are…

A safe nonjudgmental space to learn, explore, and grow.

As we foster trust between one another, I want you to feel comfortable to share your life’s story with me. I do believe you are the expert of your life and together we can try new things and explore more options. Let this space that we create be where you can step in, unmask, and let us work together authentically.

My background

I received my first Bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine - Orono in Anthropology and International Affairs with a minor in Latin in 2010. My second Bachelor’s degree is in German which I received from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. In 2018, I received my first Master’s degree in German Studies from the University of Wisconsin - Madison while studying towards an ABD in German Studies with minors in Women and Gender Studies and Medieval Studies. Since 2023, I have been attending the University of Wisconsin - Superior’s online graduate education counseling program on the Marriage and Family Therapy track. In my down time, I love spending time with my family, my dogs and my cat. I also love cooking and baking, world building, playing board games, video games, studying historical and social linguistics, connecting with nature, and watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
