Creating a safe space for healing, growth, and self-discovery.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially when you are navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, or other challenges that leave you feeling stuck or overwhelmed. My goal is to provide a nonjudgmental, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your experiences at your own pace.

As a counseling intern, I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and adults through challenging life experiences. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of the counseling process. I value and recognize the importance of trust, collaboration, and connection in fostering growth and healing.

While Person-Centered Therapy serves as the foundation of my work, I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches to meet the unique needs of each client. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I try to tailor counseling to each individual, recognizing that every person's story, strengths, and needs are different.

I was drawn to counseling because I believe everyone deserves to feel seen and heard. I have a special passion for working with children and adolescents and strive to create the kind of safe, supportive space that I wish I had growing up. My hope is that every client who walks through my door feels empowered to be their authentic self and knows they don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they develop greater self-understanding, resilience, and hope. Together, we can create a path toward healing, growth, and lasting change.

MODALITIES

  • You and your experiences are central to the work that is done

  • CBT focuses on reframing negative thought patterns and changing behaviors to improve mental health.

Sessions with me are…

Personalized to your needs.

Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all, and I don't believe your care should be either. My work is grounded in Person-Centered Therapy while incorporating evidence-based approaches that fit your unique goals, strengths, and experiences. Together, we'll create a supportive, collaborative space where you can feel heard, explore life's challenges, and build toward meaningful growth at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My background

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, our two cats, family, and friends. You'll often find me at the gym, spending a day at the lake (Wisconsin weather dependent, of course!), working on an arts and crafts project, or catching up on the latest Bravo shows. I believe that making time for connection, creativity, movement, and self-care is an important part of overall well-being, and I strive to bring that same balance and authenticity into my work with clients.
